1. PA State Laurel Festival
Catch a glorious display of our state flower blooming with the 77 annual PA State Laurel Festival. The week-long event will include a juried arts and crafts fair, queens pageant, pet parade, children’s health fair, foot races, several musical concerts, as well as the traditional two-hour Laurel Festival Parade. This is always a great week packed full of fun for the entire family where you’re sure to find something for everyone’s taste!
2. Made in America
Discover how America's favorite products are crafted in the Factory Tour Capital of the World during the 20 annual Made in America Tour. Visitors can participate in more than two dozen tours, discovering everything from how Martin's® Potato Chips makes mouth-watering snacks to how Harley-Davidson® crafts its iconic motorcycles.

3. Mountain Springs Country Fair
Come check out the rides and animals at the Mountain Springs Country Fair in Hamburg. From line dancing and a wolf show to a strawberry pie contest and lawn mower racing, this three-day event is packed with activities, food, vendors, and entertainment for the whole family, with free parking!

4. National Road Chainsaw Carving Festival
Looking for the perfect chainsaw carving? You can stop your search with a trip to the 15th annual National Road Chainsaw Carving Festival, where artisans from across the nation express their creativity through handmade and vintage goods. Throughout the weekend, catch carving demonstrations and bid on your favorite carved items. All proceeds from the auction benefit the Somerset County Blind Association.

5. Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival
Get lost in the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival. The soulful weekend transforms the Steel City into a larger-than-life jazz club, with more than 140 jazz musicians playing on indoor and outdoor stages. If you love jazz, prepare to be captivated by the impressive roster, which boasts legends Marcus Miller, Gregory Porter, Shemekia Copeland, and Kenny Garrett.

6. Historic Bellefonte Cruise
If you’re a huge fan of everything automotive, then the Historic Bellefonte Cruise is just for you! Held during Father’s Day weekend, the annual event includes an open cruise, sock hop, and motorcycle poker run. Be sure to check out the vintage and classic automobiles from truck, car, and motorcycle classes as they line up the downtown streets during the traditional car show.

7. Laurel Highlands Bluegrass Festival
Clean upthe camper, dust off the lawn chairs, and get ready for the 16th annual Laurel Highlands Bluegrass Festival! The music lineupwill be filled with top-notch national, regional, and local bluegrass performers like Darrell Webb Band and Remington Ryde to create a wholesome, family-friendly bluegrass experience.

8. Blues Festival
Chilled wine, good friends, and the sounds of two local bands is all you need to enjoy the 17th annual Blues Festival, along Conneaut Lake. The all-day affair is a perfect opportunity to mingle with vino lovers while enjoying the cool lake breeze.

10. Whispering Pines Festival in the Woods
Explore the PA countryside at the unique Whispering Pines Festival in the Woods. Walk around the beautiful farm, browse wares from outstanding antique dealers and talented artisans, and enjoy the sounds of live music.

11. Forksville Powwow
Celebrate the culture of the indigenous peoples at this annual Forksville Powwow, filled with tribal dances, art, and workshops. Entertainment and activities offer all ages an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of the original peoples of the region at this two-day event held annually in the Endless Mountains.

12. March Out of the Continental Army Commemoration
Get into marching formation and retrace the historic footsteps the Continental Army made from Valley Forge as they pursued the British Army in June of 1778. As you march your way to the picnic area, stop to hear stories from interpreters in continental uniform explain the events at Valley Forge. Wrap up your tour of the park with a special soldier life program and musket demonstration.

13. Central PA Tasting Trail Summer Craft Beverage Expo
When the sun is shining, there are few things more refreshing than a glass of wine. Get your vino fix at the Central PA Tasting Trail Summer Craft Beverage Expo, returning for its second year. This event is perfect for those looking to shake off those winter blues and breathe the fresh, crisp mountain air of Central PA’s great outdoors.

14. Schnecksville Community Fair
Perfect for the whole family, the Schnecksville Community Fair features plenty of all-ages activities including carnival rides, competitive exhibits, baking and cooking contests, a barnyard petting zoo, and concerts in the pavilion.

15. Beast of a Feast
Is your appetite ready for a night of ferocious, feastly fun? Foodies won’t want to miss the annual Beast of a Feast event at the Elmwood Park Zoo, where they can sample several dishes from 30 of the area’s best restaurants, watch cooking demonstrations, and meet animals from the zoo.

16. Jubilee Day
It's time again for the largest, longest-running, one-day street fair on the East Coast — Jubilee Day. Take advantage of the warm weather and get outside to enjoy carnival rides, try street fair food, and participate in arts & crafts activities. Be sure to bring the kiddos and let them burn off energy in the dedicated children’s area.

17. Thunder in the Valley® Annual Motorcycle Rally
Ride through for scenic rides and the opportunity to mingle with other biking enthusiasts when the 21st annual Thunder in the Valley® Motorcycle Rally roars into town. Watch motorcycle stunt riders, participate in major manufacturers demo rides, and browse trinkets from over 125 vendors. Major entertainment acts include Quiet Riot and Great White, along with Hells/Bells, America’s favorite AC/DC cover band.

18. Chester County Balloon Festival
The 12 annual Chester County Balloon Festival is coming to New Garden! New special shapes balloons will make their debut in addition to evening balloon glows, and as many as 20 hot-air balloons will take part in the mass launch on Saturday. Dozens of food vendors, arts and crafts, shopping and live music will be on hand at this high-flying event.

19. Art in the Wilds
Enjoy the beautiful rolling hills of Pennsylvania while supporting more than 30 juried artists and artisans at the annual Art in the Wilds festival. The outdoor art show set in beautifully wooded PA Wilds highlights the best of the region, featuring quality fine artwork and crafts from the region.

20. Manayunk Arts Festival
Experience the tradition of excellence at the Manayunk Arts Festival, the tri-state area's largest outdoor juried arts exhibition. Peruse and purchase a wide variety of fine arts and crafts from across the country. Nearly 200,000 collectors, buyers, and designers will visit for this event to admire pieces stemming from all mediums, including jewelry, ceramics, woodworks, and sculptures.

21. PA Cider Fest
Sip your way through Pennsylvania’s newest premier cider tasting event, the inaugural PA Cider Fest. Cideries from across the state will showcase their ciders, provide samples, and sell products. Activities include special seminars from cider experts focusing on apple pressing, cider apples, cider pairing, and tasting tips.

22. Snack Town Brewfest
Celebrate Hanover’s rich snack food heritage by pairing tasty treats with local craft beer and wine at the Snack Town Brewfest. Back for a second year, the festival features more than 40 breweries and wineries, along with food trucks, music, and entertainment for a day of sips, tastes, and fun.

23. Pioneer Frolic Festival
Come see what rural Pennsylvania life was like along the Sandy Creek Valley from the 1790s to 1840s at the Pioneer Frolic Festival. Watch a reenactor encampment and demonstrations of colonial crafts and enjoy free wagon rides. Get the full experience by attending the festival in a pre-1840 costume.

24. Landmarks in Lights
Explore the beautiful and expansive grounds of the Bryn Athyn Historic District, which includes National Historic Landmarks Cairnwood, Bryn Athyn Cathedral, and Glencairn. Swing by the annual Landmarks in Lights to see the three architecturally renowned buildings illuminate the sky and wander the spectacular property in quiet reflection.

25. Wawa Welcome America!
Declare your love for the nation and celebrate its birthday in the place where it all began with Pitt Bull headlining the celebration. Wawa Welcome America! is a multiday party of 50+ free events for all ages including outdoor concerts, museum days, a patriotic parade, block parties, and fantastic fireworks.

26. 69th Annual Kutztown Folk Festival
Visit the annual 69th Annual Kutztown Folk Festival, known as “America’s Largest Quilt Sale,” to browse more than 2,500 locally handmade quilts. With a variety of traditional crafts, food demonstrations and tastings, and music, the Kutztown Festival is where the whole family can learn about and enjoy Pennsylvania Dutch folk life. Don’t forget to print your $2 off admission ticket too!

27. Big Butler Fair
The largest agricultural fair in western PA returns with nine days of food, fireworks, carnival rides, games, demolition derbies, concerts, and truck pulls. The annual Big Butler Fair is a longstanding regional family tradition, whose origin dates back more than 160 years. Celebrate America’s birthday at this iconic PA destination and watch the spectacular fireworks show light up the sky.
