Pennsylvania is home to award-winning Christmas tree farms whose trees have even graced the halls of the White House and Rockefeller Center. Christmas Tree Capital of the World

Indiana

There is only one "Christmas Tree Capital of the World" and that’s in Indiana, PA! Indiana County has long been known for producing a variety of evergreen trees, as well as being the home of Jimmy Stewart, star of the iconic Christmas film, It’s a Wonderful Life. Your holiday tradition begins downtown at the 30-foot live tree lighting on South 7th Street followed by the Holiday Parade, Nov. 18. Kick off four weeks of "It's A Wonderful Life" in Indiana Holiday Celebration while enjoying hot chocolate, marshmallows, Santa and his reindeer, and shopping, Nov. 19-Dec. 18! Family memories are made at Mytrysak Family Tree Farm with a tractor wagon ride through the fields to choose the picture-perfect tree with cut-your-own available through Dec. 4.

Evergreen Acres Christmas Tree Farm

Auburn

A spectacular, majestic Douglas Fir from Evergreen Acres Christmas Tree Farm was selected as the 2022 Grand Champion of the National Tree and Wreath Contest. With that honor, one of the farm’s trees has been selected to be the White House’s official Christmas Tree this holiday season, the second time a tree from the farm has been named grand champion! Visit the farm to find your own perfect tree this holiday season!

Elizabeth Farms

Lititz

For the holidays at their best, go to Elizabeth Farms for holiday greenery and a pre-cut Christmas tree or choose and cut one on your own. Visit the farm on a weekend for wagon rides, a visit with Santa, complimentary hot cocoa, food trucks, and even some festive bar drinks. Be sure to check out the gift shop for beautiful ornaments and other holiday décor.

Neiderer Family Farm

Hanover

Find your one-of-a-kind tree in the true spirit of the holiday season at Neiderer Family Farm. Proceeds from the sale of each tree help three families in the community deal with medical expenses as a family member battles cancer. This small family farm has so many beautiful trees, you’re sure to find the perfect one on your cut-your-own tree adventure!

Bustard’s Christmas Trees

Lansdale

Bustard’s Christmas Trees won major bragging rights when one of its spectacular trees graced the White House’s Blue Room in 2015 and, more recently, won second place in the 2021 National Christmas Tree Championship. This family-owned business has been supplying trees since 1929, when they were first sold to supplement the farm’s array of crops. Now, Christmas trees are this family’s bread and butter!

Froehlich’s Farm

From inside your home to outside, Froehlich’s Farm has all the seasonal decorations you need. They offer both fresh cut and live Christmas tress in sizes that range from table top to 12-feet and higher. CT Farm

CT Farm is a choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm located in beautiful Chester County. The farm is home to five different species of tree, making it a one-stop shop for all the favorites. After picking the perfect tree for the holiday season, the farm staff will cut and drill the tree so it’s ready to stand in your stand!

Stroll through the transformed greenhouse, a true winter wonderland, and browse the artificial trees or take a walk outside and view their wide selection of pre-cut trees. Blue Mountain Farms and Fiber Mill

Harrisburg

Venture to Harrisburg to pick out the perfect tree this holiday season at Blue Mountain Farms and Fiber Mill. Specializing in fir trees — Douglas, Concolor, and Fraser — with most individually shaped and pruned each year and some unsheared for that completely natural look. After selecting the perfect tree the first weekend of sales, enjoy some kettle cooked chicken corn soup and warm apple cider before heading home to decorate!

Merrymead Farm Market

Lansdale

Stroll through the forest of trees at Merrymead Farm Market in Lansdale to find a beautiful, fresh-cut, local fir tree. The staff will shake, bale, and load your tree — all you have to do is pick out your favorite one! Their Holly House is filled with wreaths, roping, and assorted greens that are perfect for the Christmas season. After the tree has been loaded up, climb aboard the Merry Express for a train ride around the farm and stop to see Santa in his workshop; then warm up by their new firepits with a cup of hot chocolate (made with Merrymead Milk) and a fresh-baked cookie.

Forrest View Evergreen Tree Farm

While you may not want to roam Forrest View Evergreen Tree Farm’s 200 acres to find the perfect tree, several species of trees line every acre making it easy to pick a winner. As a “growing business” since 1925, the farm’s trees have even surrounded the skating rink at Rockefeller Center! Browse their huge fir selection to find the perfect holiday tree that the staff will cut, bale, and drill for you and don’t forget to check out their selection of beautiful wreaths — each one handmade in November, guaranteeing it will last through the holiday season and beyond!
